«It's amazing how quickly the location is updated»
Gro Anett has dedicated much of his life to dogs and is a well-known face in Trondheim's dog community. Now she has tested Lildog.
Will be using Lildog every day
Gro Anett has dedicated much of her life to dogs and is a familiar face in Trondheim's dog community. She responded to a Facebook post and was selected as one of the first 200 to test the Norwegian-produced Lildog. "My dog has a tendency to investigate things that excite him, so he will suddenly run off. It would be truly amazing to see where he is and has been on a map", Gro Anett explains.
One of the first things she noticed in the app display was the step counter. It was incredibly cool to follow along in the app. "I will use Lildog every day from now on, and will probably get one for each of my dogs", continues Gro Anett.
Gro has previously tried other GPS tracking systems for her dog, but they are too big, quite expensive and she had ro carry around a big phone-like case to see where the dog is.

Even a well-trained dog can run away
There are many people who believe that their dog would never run away. And few people have dogs as well-trained as Gro Anett, who trains her dogs every day. But it doesn't help how well trained a dog is – instincts run deeper than discipline. In other words, any dog can suddenly shoot off into the unknown. Gro Anett's Belgian shepherd Lima loves to run away if she gets the scent of something intriguing.
“Lima has a tendency to explore anything that tickles her fancy. When it happens, shouting and whistling helps very little, and I just have to accept that a dog is a dog and hope that I find her again", says Gro Anett.

Lildog is incredibly user-friendly
"It was very easy to create an account and register," says Gro Anett. The developers say they have spent a lot of time making Lildog easy to understand, and this is reflected well in the app."Clean design and almost impossible to misunderstand what the next step is” replies Gro Anett.
Gro Anett walks Sienna on a leash while she keeps a close eye on the app. To her delight, Gro sees that the dog's location is updated on the map as they move. "wow, look, the dog is moving in the map as we walk", she says while zooming in and out on the map.

Lildog is so incredibly small and light
"Lildog is credibly small and I only need my phone to see where the dog is, I really like that. I have the phone with me anyway", says Gro Anett.
“I'll be using Lildog every day from now on, and I'll probably get one for my other dog too!”, says Gro Anett.
