Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Lildog. Your rights are our priority. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our products and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. User Account

To use our services, you must be a private person above 15 years of age. Only one account per person is allowed. Ensure your registered information is accurate and complete.

2. Communication

We may send push notifications for crucial information and updates. Accepting push notifications is required for using certain services. We reserve the right to send necessary updates and information regarding services, campaigns, and other relevant information to the user.

3. Customer's Obligations

If the service is unavailable, inform Lildog AS or local staff. You are responsible for ensuring your device works correctly and has sufficient network coverage and battery.

Customer's Obligations for Correct Use of Lildog Hotels Service

Customers must ensure their dogs are comfortable and adequately trained for using the hotel. Dogs should not be left for more than 1 hour. It is recommended to ensure the dog has access to fresh water while in the hotel. Lildog AS is not liable for any issues arising from the improper use of the hotels.

4. Payment

Provide accurate personal and payment information. Payments are processed through Stripe when you use our services. For details about your transactions, please contact our support team.

Transactions and Data Retention

Details about Customer’s transactions are stored securely by Stripe and can be requested by sending an email to support@lildog.com. Transaction data is retained for a minimum of 12 months. If you have any concerns or disputes regarding transactions, please notify us within 60 days.

5. User Data

We process personal data in accordance with the Norwegian Personal Data Processing Act. Your data is protected against unauthorized access.

6. Limitation of Liability

Lildog AS is not responsible for issues beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Network failures or disruptions.
  • Unauthorized use of lost or stolen devices.
  • Force majeure events, including natural disasters, strikes, or other uncontrollable events.
  • Misuse of the service by the user not in accordance with guidelines and instructions.
  • Any adverse outcomes due to the user not adequately preparing their pet for the use of the device or services.
  • Any health-related issues associated with our products or services, except where it can be demonstrated that such issues were caused by our negligence.

7. Misuse and Account Termination

Lildog AS reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Service if there are substantial reasons, including but not limited to misuse such as using the hotels for non-dog-related purposes, leaving dogs unattended for extended periods, causing disturbances, or engaging in illegal activities. In such cases, users will not be entitled to any refunds for products or services.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights related to our services belong to Lildog AS.

9. Changes

We reserve the right to change these terms to improve our services. Significant changes will be communicated, and continued use of the services implies acceptance.

10. Transfer of Rights and Obligations

You may not transfer your rights and obligations under this agreement without written consent from Lildog AS. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another company.

11. Disputes

These terms are governed by Norwegian law, and any disputes will be settled by Norwegian courts, with Trondheim District Court as the venue.
